Design-stage safety coordination

Under Irish Construction Regulations, every project above a certain threshold requires the appointment of a Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP). F5 Engineering provides professional PSDP services, ensuring health and safety is considered and coordinated from the earliest design decisions.

As your PSDP, we coordinate with all design team members to identify and manage risks before they reach the construction site — reducing accidents, delays, and costs.

Safety file coordination

We compile and maintain the Safety File — a record of health and safety information for the completed structure. This essential document covers operation, maintenance, and future modification or demolition of the building, and is handed over to the client at project completion.

Construction stage support

While the PSCS manages on-site safety during construction, we provide ongoing advisory support to ensure the design intent is maintained and any design changes during construction are assessed for safety implications.
